Seaford Head Golf Club

Seaford Head Golf Club brings a sense of theatre to The South Coast Challenge 2026.

Perched high on the cliffs overlooking Seaford Bay and the iconic Seven Sisters, it combines downland and links-style terrain with breathtaking scenery.

The course is renowned for its dramatic elevation changes, none more memorable than the 18th hole. From the tee, players are treated to a spectacular vista across the Channel and coastline before taking on a drive that plunges nearly 300 feet to the fairway below. Widely regarded by many as the finest finishing hole in Sussex, it guarantees drama to the very end.

Alongside the golf, a modern £1.7 million clubhouse provides panoramic views, excellent hospitality, and first-class facilities.

Seaford Head is a course where challenge and scenery come together in unforgettable fashion.

Seaford Golf Club

Seaford Golf Club, the oldest in Sussex, is one of three spectacular venues hosting The South Coast Challenge 2026.

Founded in 1887 and shaped by J.H. Taylor with later refinements by John Morrison, this traditional downland course offers a thoughtful par-69 test that rewards precision and strategy.

Elevated high on the South Downs, the course enjoys sweeping views across the English Channel and Firle Beacon, while also overlooking the winding Cuckmere River estuary and the stunning Rathfinny Vineyard.

With its rolling fairways, clever bunkering, and natural flow, Seaford delivers a golfing experience that is as beautiful as it is competitive.

Elevated above the city, it offers panoramic views over the English Channel, the rolling Sussex Downs, and Brighton Marina, making every round a scenic experience. With rolling fairways, fast greens, and a convenient location close to Brighton’s lively seafront, it delivers both accessibility and challenge.

The traditional clubhouse, home to the famous Oak Room, provides an atmospheric setting for players and spectators alike, ensuring East Brighton plays a memorable role in the Challenge with its blend of history, character, and coastal beauty.
